Core Standard

When a written work has a high level of artist merit it is often referred to as literature. In the fourth grade young readers begin to have the skills needed to ponder well known works of literature. The goal of literature is often to create a sense of memorable experience for the reader. The stories often root themselves in a form of tragedy. At the 4th grade level there are number of supplementary reading skills that can contribute to possessing solid reading comprehension ability. Decoding is much more complex at this level and reading accuracy should tighten up a great deay. Most works of literature include the use of narrators.
