Summarizing Events of a Story Worksheets

Related ELA Standard: RL.4.2

Core Standard

When reading any story, we suggest you always take short notes. You should also note which characters of the work drive the story and the main events that lead us to find the value in the story. When taking about the events we must also take into account the setting of the work and the conditions under which this is taking place. These bodies of work can make the difference between capturing the intent of the author or missing it entirely. These worksheets will help students learn the process inside and out.
