When we are looking to deeply analyze a body of text the first thing, we often look at is how the word is organized. Is the work just a recount or description of events? Is the work organized to identify a problem and present a solution? How are all the ideas set forth by the author? Are the events in chronological order or does the author use flashforward and flashback techniques? These worksheets will help students understand how author organize their work.
