Core Standard

Asia is the world's largest continent that spans just under fifty countries and seventeen million square miles. There are thought to be five general regions of Asia. Western Asia is commonly referred to as the Middle East where you will find Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. Central Asia is just west of China. Eastern Asia is composed of China, both Koreas, Japan, and Taiwan. Southern Asia is made up of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Southeastern Asia is the Vietnam and Philippines region. These worksheets will look at the life, vegetation, culture, and people of this continent.
