Consonant Digraphs Worksheets

When you find a pair of consonants that result in a single consonant sound we call this a consonant diagraph. In many cases, this requires one letter to stay silent or forms a wild sound that neither consonant would be related to. There seems to be an endless helping of consonant diagraphs in the English language. You will find that the three most commonly used consonant diagraphs in the English language are words that start with consonant duo of sh-, ch-, and th-. In this selection of worksheets we will examine the usage and finding those single sounding consonants.
