Narratives are a series of events that are retold by a narrator. How these events unfold and in what order are the plot of the story. Each author has their own unique way to breakdown how they portraying the story usually through the cycling of events in a way that helps them stand out. Once the sequence of events is transparent the author begins to frame the narrative. Most authors start a work by know how to start and finish, but it is the in between that slows them down.

How to Develop Events through Writing Narratives?


Writing about events is a complex procedure because the writer is expected to keep the audience engaged through words. A wrong set of words and phrases can kill the purpose and readers immediately lose interest. Therefore, an event description should be strong and clear. Incorrect usage of words can ruin the image even if the event is exciting in real. There are a few tips mentioned below which help writers develop excellent events in their writings.


Understand the Audience


Know your audience first because only then you can know the type of words and phrases to use. Also, it will help you decide what kind of content to add. Therefore, if you want your story to make waves, then observe your audience first.


Identify the Purpose


Every piece of writing has its own purpose. There's always something which you want the readers to learn from your writing. For example, the purpose of describing an event is mainly to develop their interest in that particular event. Once you identify the purpose, you will come up with relevant points, words and phrases to add in your writing.


Content


Start off by introducing the event. Add generic details about the event's environment, crowd, etc. Don't forget to tell what the event was about. It should be strong enough to make the audience read your entire writing. All the activities in the event should be discussed in chronological order. This gives a clear overview of the event to the audience. Describe each detail vividly. Make maximum use of strong descriptive words and phrases.


Write in First Person


The main rule of writing an event essay is to write in first person. It makes the readers believe in the authenticity of an event and they also find it more engaging. Also, readers are more inclined towards those event essays where the author has first-hand experience.


Conclusion
