Many times we will be asked or required to explain what we read. When the purpose of the piece is to inform a reader it is often helpful to outline our thoughts before we explain the work to others either verbally or through written communication. When explaining these pieces you are also tasked with trying to gauge the validity of the work, this involves doing some research for your audience. The collection of worksheets found below will help students better understand how to approach this task.
