Commonly Misspelled 9th Grade Vocabulary


Ninth grade is an important grade in a student's academic life. By the end of eighth grade, students have learned many new and difficult words along with their meanings. Ninth-graders do know how to use these words in oral and written works. However, when it comes to the spellings of various common words, ninth-graders usually encounter a little bit trouble in spelling them correctly. Given below are some commonly misspelled ninth grade vocabulary words:


Commonly Misspelled Short Vocabulary Words


Ninth-graders even misspell short words. It is because the English language is highly uneven and many words are spelled in a different way than they are pronounced. This is the most common reason for many people spelling words incorrectly. In case of a word with some silent letter in its oral pronunciation, not only the ninth-graders but some adults also omit that silent letter during writing. Long words are even more difficult to spell for a ninth grader. Students usually get panicked by looking at long words. Long words in which the same letter appears multiple times are the most common ones to be misspelled. Similarly, the words with hard pronunciation are often spelled incorrectly by the ninth-graders.
