Fall is the season between the warmest season of the month and the coldest. Because of this transition to cold, the Fall season is usually associate with a weather cool down period. Leaves tend to slow stop making food because of the change in daylight and temperature. Therefore, leaves slowly begin to fall off the trees. There are four seasons in total that show their presence all year round. These seasons include winter, summer, spring, and autumn. Most countries are lucky enough to witness these seasons in all their glory. The United States is one of them.


Fall is the season that is meant to arrive right after summers. This season acts as a transition between summer and winter. The season of autumn is neither cold nor warm. The suns start to set earlier and the weather starts to become cooler. Autumn starts usually in September after the summers are ending.


The season of autumn is also known as fall in the United States and Canada. During autumn in United States, the weather starts to get cold. It is the time when food production is stopped because the plants stop nourishing. The green leaves on trees and other plants start to fade their color. They turn to orange, brown, or yellow before falling from their roots. The days start to become shorter and nights start getting cold. The start of autumn in the United States is marked around the 23rd of September and it ends with the winter solstice which is around the 21st of December. It is the best time in the United States for stargazing. This is because the skies become clear during this time period. This is the reason why this season is also referred to as the aurora season. Autumn is also the time when the birds prepare for their winter migration and other animals practice mating. The famous monarch butterflies of the United States fly to Mexico in the season of autumn.


Autumn is also associated with harvesting. The plants are ready for harvesting during this time. This is the reason why many harvesting festivals are celebrated all around the world in the autumn.
