A blend, in the phoneme sense, is when we are able to isolate individual sounds. These sounds are referred to as sound or word segments. You can often break just about any word into many different parts. Single syllable words are hard to come by, but when you first locate one many different forms will follow. These worksheets cover all these varying skills.
